Phone calls threatening to arrest you for failure to pay taxes or a fine are SCAMS

No government agency is going to call you and tell you they are going to arrest you. Period. These calls are scams designed to scare you into making a payment to avoid an arrest. I had a client pay $26,000 to an alleged IRS agent to avoid being arrested the following day. My client was scared. She reacted out of fear without taking the time to think it through or ask for advice. ALWAYS take the time to get advice or verify the information before handing over your personal information or making any kind of payment to someone you have not verified as being legitimate. P.S. Have you ever seen a movie or TV show where the bad guy got a call before the cops showed up for the search or arrest?
